OpenFlow 1.0 versus 1.1, 1.2 1.3, 1.4 pipelines. HP Comware and HP ProVision switches

In this video David Bombal demonstrates the configuration of OpenFlow versions 1.0 and 1.3 on physical HP switches. David also explains how HP switches implement single or multiple table pipelines using both OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3. The OpenFlow pipelines are viewed on both the HP VAN SDN Controller and the HP switches (HP ProVision / ProCurve 3500yl and 3800) and HP Comware switches (5900). David will answer questions like these: Why N/A is shown on the controller? Why do tables 0, 100 and 200 show at other times? Why do tables 0, 50, 101, 102 and 200 display? Are HP Comware switches OpenFlow compliant having only a single OpenFlow table by default? Do HP Comware switches 5900 implement software based tables? This another practical explanation and demonstration of OpenFlow and Software Defined Networking (SDN) using physical switches and an SDN Controller.
