From the developers: " GNS3 is a graphical network simulator that allows simulation of complex networks.

To allow complete simulations, GNS3 is strongly linked with :

  • Dynamips, the core program that allows Cisco IOS emulation.
  • Dynagen, a text-based front-end for Dynamips.

Not too bad - got 935/1000 with pass mark 804.

Will crack on with the ICND2 now so will be back in touch next week maybe depending on how it goes.

Thanks for the great tips, i knew it was possible but could not recall the command for this and other tips  like sending messages via TTY etc... can be helpful when in a sensitive area no mobile etc... with voice / unified comms developing so fast more tips in this area would be very welcome.
